Reputation established by Maverick A Strike and adventurous but accessible album released in 1997. Two more albums were released on Epic records; Vanguard and Much More Than Much Love. In 2004 the song Dice was a minor hit, helped in part by it’s inclusion on the OC sound track. Performed at SOB’s in NYC and The Roxy in Los Angeles. Performed at Slaine Castle, Glastonbury, WOMAD, V Festival, Roskilde, T in The Park, Vancouver Folk Festival, Star Belly Jam, Garance Music Festival, EXIT Festival, Rockit Festival, Rio Free Jazz Festival, Oppikoppi, Kaya Festival, Glade Festival and Africa Oye.

Performed at Le Bataclan, Elyse Montmartre, Le Cigale, Paradiso, Columbia Halle, Zenith, Music Box, Manchester Academy, Rock City, Malcolm X Centre, Brixton Academy, Shepherds Bush Empire, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, South Bank Centre and Earls Court Exhibition Centre. Supported Julian Marley, James Brown, Ken Boothe, Lee Scratch Perry, Luciano, Paul Weller, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, Stereo MCs, The Verve and Ben Harper. Recorded with Thandiswa Mazwai, The Stereo MC’s, BLKJKS, Balkan Beat Box, Chubb Rock, Carlos Bess, Lady Miss Kier, Cathy Claret, Marlon Bois, Danny Sabre, Adrian Sherwood, Skip McDonald, Beth Orton, William Orbit, John Leckie, Ernest Ranglin, Little Roy, Norman Grant, Sly & Robbie, Monty Alexander, Primal Scream. Vanguard was released in 2000 and Much More Than Much Love in 2004.

In 2008 The Best Of The Epic Years was released on Epic Records. The last live band performance in the UK was at Jazz Cafe in 2014 and the last live band performances in France were 2009 and 2011; both in Paris. Toured South Africa twice as a live band and toured again as a live band in France, Canada, Dubai and Portugal in 2010. Played acoustic shows in Eire, in Galway, Limerick, Cork and Dublin in 2007 the tour also included dates in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Glencoe, Inverness, Orkney and Ayr. Recently performed acoustically and semi- acoustically in Scotland, England, Eire, Israel, Bulgaria, Romania, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria and Italy.
